What is your reason for becoming a teacher?
– Languages used to be a hobby of mine, and teaching wasn’t my first carrier choice. It was an unintentional development of circumstances which lead to discovering a wonderful world of cultural and language exchange.
Which countries have you had students from?
– Kongo, Chile, Ecuador, Cuba, Egypt, The Philippines, Shri Lanka.
What are the biggest challenges for your students?
– The unique sounds of the Bulgarian language, the different grammar, and understanding the different accents and dialects in real life communication.
What would you tell somebody who wants to learn Bulgarian?
– It may be difficult at the beginning, but it does get easier, you just have to start.
