What is your reason for becoming a teacher?
I’m someone who cannot help but evolve, and I feel that meeting new people, sharing your knowledge with them, and watching them grow is a unique experience each time. And each time, the teacher grows with the student.
Which countries have you had students from?
My very first student was from the Czech Republic. Today my students come from Denmark and Germany.
What are the biggest challenges for your students?
The biggest challenge is overcoming the fear of expressing oneself despite the limitations of a new language. It’s something we’ve all faced at some point — finding the courage to communicate even when we’re not yet fluent.
What would you tell somebody who wants to learn Bulgarian?
Every language is an asset — it opens unexpected doors and broadens our understanding of the world, history, and culture. Learning Bulgarian takes dedication and effort, but it’s a rewarding experience that’s absolutely worth it.
