– What is your reason for becoming a teacher?

I have always known I am born to do it, this is my first job and I love it. It is my way to make the world a better place. I can do it day and night and it is always a wonderful feeling when you see how a student understands a concept and it makes sense to him. I see my role as holding their hand until they start walking on their own and continue the language journey. I love my country and it is my mission to bring the culture and the language closer to the foreigners.

– What countries have you had students from?

I have had students literally from all around the world. It was always our treasure and I am so thankful I was able to teach people from so many different countries during the years. Last year we had in our educational center students from 48 different countries. I am so happy all of them are interested in Bulgarian language and culture.

– What are the biggest challenges for your students?

Articles, plural of the nouns, aspect of the verb, past tense in Bulgarian

– What would you tell somebody who wants to learn Bulgarian?

Take it as an adventure, enjoy the process, be grateful for every small progress. We are
here to help you and guide you through the challenges.
