I have been learning Bulgarian with Ventsi for about 15 months now and it has changed my whole perception of how to learn Bulgarian! I had a bit of a false start learning the language in London and some poor teaching which put me off but was kindly introduced to the school by a new teacher that I had met online.
Her teaching techniques suit my learning style and busy schedule and I (finally!) feel like I’m making progress. The lessons are led by the learner and my desire to be able to speak and converse with friends and family in Bulgaria. Ventsi is extremely patient and kind but will always look to push me out of my comfort zone so I can learn more effectively and converse properly.
I’ve also participated in series of group classes that were led by Ventsi. It combined students at different stages of their journey and backgrounds and really helped to give me the confidence to converse alot more on unfamiliar topics and grapple with slightly harder grammar concepts. I think we all learnt alot!
I would highly recommend Kristina Progress if you want to learn Bulgarian – regardless of your level and prior experience. You will come away being able to converse and understand more than you thought possible.
