What is your reason for becoming a teacher?
I’ve always been fascinated with languages and the power of words. Since I’ve always studied languages with pleasure, teaching them became a natural consequence.
Which countries have you had students from?
Only a few – Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia, France, Spain, Italy, Georgia, and Bosnia.
What are the biggest challenges for your students?
I’d say it’s building up the courage to speak the language outside the learning environment in real life. It does take time to become more confident and start speaking and feeling natural. My advice is that the more opportunities you take to speak the language, the easier it gets.
What would you tell somebody who wants to learn Bulgarian?
Be curious and just immerse yourself in the melody of the language and the culture of our country!
